Group Keyboard Classes
Why learn in a group? Group lessons are more fun and motivating for beginners and those in their early years of learning as students have the opportunity to learn through listening, singing and group activities. Students have the opportunity to learn from each other.
Group keyboard classes are now available for a range of ages and levels. A maximum of 5 students per class guarantees individual attention within a group learning environment.
Beginners: Students are matched based on age and taught with age-appropriate materials.
- Using the Encore Music System, students aged 4-7 years learn from the Junior Series which includes fun songs with backing tracks to stimulate the imagination, along with repertoire pieces, duets, rhythm ensembles, and finger zips.
- Students aged 8-12 years learn from the Primary series which incorporates the same subject areas, however moves at a faster pace.
- Teens and adults learn from the Accent series designed for older learners.
Students with previous tuition: Ideal for students who have previously undertaken foundation courses in music, such as those run by the Yamaha and Suzuki music schools. Students are matched based on level and age to focus on developing aural skills and harmony.
Classes are also available for students also currently having individual lessons.
Adults who wish to learn with a friend can also learn in a small group environment (please send an enquiry).
Theory of music / Musicianship classes are also available.
