Having studied music myself for many years, I understand first-hand the stress involved in performing and public presentation! It was through my own journey with learning to manage the self-doubts, inner criticism and physical signs of anxiety that I discovered the powerful benefits of relaxation and creative imagery. Combined with music therapy techniques, relaxation and imagery are enhanced to
help performers unlock their potential.
Using a range of techniques, I help performers address the cognitive, behavioural and physical responses that create a hard-to-break cycle that impair performance. Following assessment, a plan is carefully tailored to address each of these areas, with take-home notes and exercises provided. The method of Guided Imagery and Music Therapy I have undertaken further studies in also assists with addressing the core of the anxiety creating an holistic treatment that not only works to reduce the symptoms, but aims to address the underlying causes.
